Ember in the morning
At Ember Recovery Center, we prioritize healthy habits and routines to help you embrace a new way of life. Our aim is to prepare you for the challenges you may face after leaving our facility by guiding you toward a healthier and more fulfilling lifestyle.
Our mornings start with a nourishing breakfast prepared by our on-site chef. Patients are then encouraged to partake in activities such as yoga, meditation, and/or prayer, as they are effective ways to achieve a positive mindset for the rest of the day. If we aren’t holding a morning group, we motivate patients to continue participating in these practices to maintain optimism throughout their daily treatment.
Once we’ve had time to reflect and clear our minds, our group sessions begin. Led by skilled counselors and therapists, our discussions aim to help you understand those underlying issues that initially contributed to your substance abuse. We teach recovery, addiction, and the 12-Step Program to help you find clarity and a way forward in your healing process.
Compassionate Support
To ensure you receive the help you need, our support lines are open 24/7. The Ember team, many of whom are in recovery themselves, are with you every step of the way.
Initial Evaluation
CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) is an immense method used in Ember. Aiming at recognizing how your thoughts impact your emotions, or vice versa, and their influence on the behaviors you take allows our professionals to guide you through how to safely manage your emotions in your recovery.
Insurances Benefit
Once your thoughts are identified, our therapist will guide you towards healthy responses to your triggers. Our one on one therapy sessions provide a safe environment for you to be free and open to share any fears or concerns you may have in your life, allowing our therapists to provide you with the tools needed to manage and respond to those sources of stress.
A Seamless Journey
Offering breaks in between these sessions gives you time to recover from the hard work and digging done to achieve the sobriety that we are all rooting for.
Insurances Benefit
Our group sessions is a therapy style where clients learn and practice recovery strategies, build interpersonal skills, and reinforce and develop social support networks. It typically involves a group of 6 to 12 clients who meet on a regular basis with one or two group therapists. Being present in a room with others who are here for the same purpose but a different background allows for a warm conversation of recovery, honesty, accountability, and willingness. Sharing this time together with one another in our group sessions builds a trust and bond allowing for each other to build understanding and dig deep where the healing is paramount. Introducing group sessions for our clients is also essential because building the comfortability in a group setting prepares them for going out and joining communities such as the 12 Step Program and AA.
A Seamless Journey
Ember is delighted to introduce our specialized sessions that are offered, knowing every client is unalike. We sessions led by professionals offering Reiki, yoga, Art Therapy, Sound Therapy, Meditation, Psychoeducation and more. With our specialized sessions we have tailored them to fit anyone with anger management, stress management, trauma experiences, first responders, veterans, members of the LGBTQ+ community, young adults and many more.
Ember in the evening
As the sun sets and the day draws to a close, we gather as a family to unwind and relish a fulfilling dinner. During evenings, we encourage our clients to indulge in leisure activities that align with their treatment plan. It’s important to take time off and reflect on the strategies learned while contemplating how to incorporate them in their journey to recovery. Our recreation room is equipped with exciting options such as Bingo, Karaoke, Cornhole, and board games to help foster social interactions.
On specific days, we invite members from the H&I community to lead AA/NA meetings for our residents. H&I (Hospitals and Institutions) is a community of members in recovery who visit rehabs to help people recover from the chains of addiction.
